Disney Mania 7

The numbers in “Disney Mania 7” range from a dull version of Peggy Lee’s “Bella Notte” by Ruby Summer to the highlight piece, “Trust In Me,” with Selena Gomez offering a sultry version of the song from “The Jungle Book.”

The only other offering worth repeat plays is “Under the Sea,” featuring BooBoo Stewart. The arrangement is imaginative and fun.

There are two songs from “The Lion King”; the CD leads off with a stomping, rocking arrangement of “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King,” by Allstar Weekend.

"When She Loved Me” from “Toy Story 2” is not particularly exciting, but it features one of the best vocalists on “Disney Mania 7” Bridgit Mendler.

There is a fair amount of good music and good arrangements featured on Disney soundtracks. Stick to those. These makeovers do not come close to matching up. One way or another, be prepared. Some months from now, “Disney Mania 8” will most likely be on the market.
